Senior Consolidation Analyst

We are currently seeking a Senior Consolidation Analyst, reporting directly to Consolidation Deputy Director, to join our team based in Nanterre/La Défense.

About the mission we offer you:

The Senior Consolidation Analyst will be responsible for supporting the consolidation team in the preparation of financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and assisting with the quarterly closing process.

General Accounting & Financial Reporting

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
• Ensure compliance with IFRS standards and the group's policies
• Perform some key analysis of financial data and provide insights into management
• Support the entities part of the consolidation perimeter in the quarterly closing process
• Ensure proper implementation of new IFRS standards within the consolidation perimeter and assess their impact on group reporting
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely reporting
• Preparation of the quarterly reporting on the disclosure management tool (Workiva)
• Participate in ad-hoc projects as required
• Supervise and mentor junior team members involved in consolidation tasks and financial reporting

HFM upgrades

• Coordinate HFM system upgrades (version migrations, patches, and enhancements) with IT and external consultants
• Ensure the application's stability and functionality post-upgrade through comprehensive testing and validation
• Document system changes and provide end-user training on new features 

Audit & Compliance

• Coordinate with internal and external auditors for financial audits
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax regulations, and internal controls
• Develop and maintain documentation for audit trials and financial procedures

Team Collaboration

• Support finance team members and cross-functional teams
• Cross functional interaction with other support functions to align financial processes
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management

About you:

To be successful in this mission you should consider the following requirements:

• Master's degree in accounting or finance from a top business school (Grande Ecole program)
• About 4-6 years of experience in accounting or finance
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a rapidly changing work environment 
• Rigor and organization
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluency in English and in French (written and oral)
• Fundamental experience in Consolidation tool knowledge (HFM) would be a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
