Role Overview
We are seeking a
Subsea Pipeline Design Engineer
to join an engineering team for the execution of subsea pipeline design activities on a major offshore development. The engineer will work autonomously under the supervision of the project lead and in close interface with other disciplines.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform design of subsea pipelines for project execution and tender phases.
- Conduct pipeline sizing, stability checks, and route optimization.
- Execute advanced analyses such as FEM for lateral buckling and pipeline walking.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering outputs.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Proven experience in subsea pipeline design within Oil & Gas projects.
- Strong knowledge of in-place pipeline design activities.
- Proficiency in Abaqus for structural and stability analysis.
- Ability to develop and automate calculations using Python.
- Solid understanding of FEM principles applied to subsea pipelines.
- Excellent command of technical English (written and spoken).
