The Modern Workplace System Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company's modern workplace environment. He/she works closely with IT teams, end users, and partners to ensure that users have the tools and resources they need to work efficiently.

In this role, your main missions will be:

Design and Implementation:

• Assess user needs and propose modern technological solutions (automation, workstations, software, etc.).
• Design and implement integrated and secure digital work environments.
• Collaborate with internal teams to integrate business applications into the digital workplace

Tool and Technology Management:

• Manage and maintain productivity tools, including office suites, online collaboration tools, etc.
• Ensure regular software and application updates to maintain security and performance.

Security and Compliance:

• Implement robust security measures to protect company data and information.
• Ensure compliance with privacy and data protection regulations

Technical Support:

• Provide technical support to end users to resolve issues related to Modern Workplace tools and technologies.
• Train employees on the effective use of available digital tools.

Optimization and Continuous Improvement:

• Monitor the performance of the digital work environment and suggest ongoing improvements.
• Work with stakeholders to understand evolving needs and adapt the workplace environment accordingly.

We are looking for passionate and curious professionals who bring kindness and a touch of enthusiasm

This job is for you if:

• Engineering degree or equivalent university-level education in IT.
• Experience working in a modern workplace environment.
• In-depth knowledge of operating systems, applications, and cloud services
• Strong skills in programming and automation (scripting) with Python, PowerShell, Power Automate, etc.
• Experience using GitHub/GitHub Actions
• Solid technical expertise in operating systems (Windows, macOS), office suites (M365), online collaboration tools, and office-related technology (meeting rooms, laptops, screens).
• In-depth knowledge of workstation/mobile device management technologies/tools (EMM/MDM such as Intune and Jamf).
• Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, and project management tools (Asana, Project) is a plus..
• Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with multidisciplinary departments.
• Strong awareness of IT security and data protection.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• English fluent

WHAT ARE THE RECRUITMENT STEPS?

If your application is shortlisted, Maxime will contact you within a week for an initial HR screening (30 minutes). Then, you will complete the AssessFirst test (personality, motivation and cognitive reasoning).

Next, you will meet Florent, your future manager. Finally, Maxime will conduct a final HR interview to review your AssessFirst results together.

The recruitment process usually takes between 4 to 6 weeks to ensure an optimal experience for you.
