POSITION AND PROFILE

Groupe Ostrea is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Financial Analyst with 2-3 years' experience to join our finance team. You will report directly to the Group's CFO and support daily accounting operations, monthly closings, reporting and financial analysis.

This is a full-time role based ideally in Bordeaux with frequent travel to Bourcefranc and with a flexible hybrid work model.

Primary functions / tasks:

·       Process day-to-day accounting entries

·       Support monthly, quarterly and annual closings

·       Assist in the development and implementation of financial plans and budgets

·       Track actual performance against budget and prior years' performance and identify variances,

their drivers and emerging trends

·       Analyze the trends of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), especially relating to financial metrics

·       Support management team and the Group's CFO with data-driven analysis

·       Contribute to internal controls and compliance processes

·       Review existing processes and procedures to develop recommendations for improvement efforts

·       Work closely with external auditors and advisors

Profile / Requirements:

·       Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance (Master's is a strong plus)

· years of relevant accounting or financial controller experience, ideally in a French company or international environment

·       Excellent knowledge of French GAAP and local tax regulations

·       Strong Excel and accounting software skills

·       Attention to detail and organizational skills

·       Fluent in French and business-proficient in English (written and spoken)

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present findings and recommendations

·       Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities

·       Proactive mindset, comfortable working in dynamic and fast-growing environments
