Construction Support Designer

Job Description

  • Develop as-built drawings based on site conditions.
  • Prepare P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagram) and equipment lists.
  • Design piping and equipment layouts.
  • Create 3D designs and extract isometrics and BOM (Bill of Materials).
  • Prepare piping, insulation, and equipment inquiries.
  • Clarify vendor queries regarding inquiries and drawings.
  • Provide procurement support by obtaining and validating quotes.
  • Validate vendor proposals and provide BVOA (Best Value Offer Analysis).
  • Offer construction support for installations.
  • Assist clients and technicians, including preparing IQ (Installation Qualification) and OQ (Operational Qualification) checklists and supporting yellow lining.
  • Possess knowledge of piping supports.
  • Have basic knowledge in CSA (Civil, Structural, and Architectural) and electrical disciplines.
  • Demonstrate autonomy and problem-solving skills during construction.
  • 100% independent to work closely to client.

Software Skills:

  • AutoCAD Smart 3D
  • AutoCAD
  • MS Office
  • French language to handle Project team and Vendor.
  • Team player , positive attitude and more supportive on problem solving.
