The role needs autonomy and also execution following standard functional practices and procedures. Some judgment may be required with guidance.
About the Role:
We are seeking a forward‑thinking Process & Turbine Auxiliaries Engineer to join our engineering team and play a key role in designing, optimizing, and delivering high‑performance auxiliary systems for turbine installations. This position is ideal for engineers who enjoy combining deep technical expertise with hands‑on collaboration, supplier interaction, and end‑to‑end project ownership
Your Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and refine process calculations, flow charts, heat‑balance models, and material balances for turbine auxiliary systems.
• Design and update flow diagrams, P&IDs, operational concepts (POCC), and system architecture for water–steam and cooling cycles.
• Size equipment and components (pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, etc.) and ensure seamless integration into overall system design.
• Prepare detailed technical specifications for mechanical and process equipment.
• Lead technical clarification with multiple suppliers, evaluate proposals, and ensure compliance with performance and quality expectations.
• Follow equipment through its entire lifecycle: engineering validation, manufacturing oversight, factory acceptance steps, and delivery coordination.
• Collaborate closely with auxiliary engineering teams and cross‑functional departments to resolve technical issues and support decision‑making.
• Identify alternative engineering solutions and propose improvements beyond standard parameters.
• Document systems, prepare technical reports, and support project planning and program execution.
Your Skills and Qualifications
• Solid foundation in process engineering, thermodynamics, or mechanical engineering, supported by relevant professional experience.
• Ability to develop deep technical expertise in turbine auxiliary systems and related components.
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to communicate and collaborate across disciplines.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to work with complex technical data and propose innovative solutions.
• Ability to work independently as an individual contributor while effectively engaging with team members and stakeholders.
• Education level comparable to a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
Desired Characteristics
• Prior experience in process engineering, thermal systems, or equipment follow‑up and supplier management.
• Knowledge of water–steam cycles, cooling systems, and turbine plant auxiliary operations.
• Strong communication skills in both French and English.
• Ability to prioritize, organize, and meet project milestones in fast‑evolving environments.
• Proven experience in technical documentation, planning, and project execution.
Why Join Us?
