Description

A large international banking organization is responsible for global IT production.

The DATA/AI team designs, operates, and provides expertise in DATA platforms that facilitate the implementation of modern, distributed, and highly resilient architectures, both on-premises and in the cloud.

The Data Engineering/Big Data Expertise position will join the DATA/AI team, currently composed of around twenty people located between Paris and Singapore, and will operate in a rich technical and functional environment.

Main Missions

Support projects in their migration to modern on-prem and public cloud infrastructures:

  • Provide assistance/expertise to our customers, obtain their feedback and understand their requirements
  • Carry out a detailed study of customer needs in conjunction with the architects
  • Build the DATA infrastructures for the project with CloudOps
  • Support projects in the adoption of these technologies via workshops, training, and documentation
  • Set up/configure services to meet project requirements
  • Define backup and restoration strategies
  • Carry out performance, resilience, and disaster recovery tests
  • Implement monitoring and alerting
  • Write operating documents

Participate in the RUN of our services:

  • Request and incident management
  • Patching/Upgrade
  • Participation in the team's on-call duty
  • Continuous improvement of our procedures/documentation

Skills Sought

  • In-depth knowledge of the following Data technologies: Cloudera, Kafka, Spark, Flink, Nifi, AirFlow, Starburst/trino
  • Knowledge of AWS and GCP Public Cloud and Terraform
  • Knowledge of Data solutions on the Public Cloud: AWS EMR, MSK, GCP DataProc, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud Dataflow, etc.
  • In-depth knowledge of Linux and Kubernetes
  • In-depth knowledge of CI/CD solutions (Gitlab, GitOps, ArgoCD, etc.)
  • Mastery of programming languages (Scala, Java, Python, etc.)
  • Working in Agile
  • English
  • ITIL V4 certification required
