As an
Application Engineer – Steel
, you will play a key role in our customer-centric approach, providing application and technical support to customers in
non-glass industries
, with a strong focus on
steel downstream processes
(galvanised, electrical, and stainless steel).
You will work closely with
Commercial, Design, and Operations teams worldwide
to deliver high-value sales projects. Leveraging your deep understanding of customer applications and requirements, you will recommend tailored solutions and ensure the successful implementation and performance of
Vesuvius Fused Silica technologies
.
You will also:
- Strengthen market and application knowledge
- Identify opportunities for
market share growth
and
new product development - Act as a technical reference for customers and internal stakeholders

What you bring
- Master's degree in
Engineering, Metallurgy, or Ceramic Materials - Strong experience in
steel downstream processes - Excellent communication skills in
English
(additional languages are a plus) - Project Management and Market Intelligence skills are highly valued
- Willingness to
travel up to 50%
