Description Of Work
We are currently recruiting for Food Service Assistants at Central Regional Hospital. These positions will be cross trained throughout Nutrition Services as appropriate. The primary purpose of these positions is to prepare and serve

food from all stations throughout the Nutrition Services Department. Assigned duties may include but are not limited to, preparing meals and snacks, checking patient trays and snacks for proper food items, correct portion size, consistency, preference, and delivering to different units, wards or dining room. throughout the hospital. Marinating a clean and sanitized work area to include all pots, pans and cooking utensils are clean and sanitized properly, and cardboard and trash are emptied.

Salary Range: $26, $46,991.00
Recruitment Range: $31, $46,991.00

8-Hour Shifts

  • 5:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
  • 10:15 a.m. - 7:15 p.m.

Including alternating weekends and holidays; however, flexibility with work schedule is required to meet training requirements and hospital needs. These are full-time positions and eligible for the full State benefits package including health insurance and retirement.
