Join AESC, a global leader in lithium-ion battery technology, and become a key player in the development and production of high-performance batteries.
As part of our expansion in France, we are recruiting a MES (Manufacturing Execution System) Engineer for our new site in Lambres-lez-Douai.
The Purpose Of The MES
- MES application is running 24/7 (Maintenance period 4h on Sat and 4h on Sun)
- MES ensure full traceability of production data.
- MES Capture information at every stage of the manufacturing process and trigger next stage.
- MES manage scheduling and production tracking.
You will play a pivotal role in deploying and ensuring the smooth operation of MES systems in our state-of-the-art facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate hardware, software, and communication protocols between MES developments from Japan and China, and local equipment suppliers.
- Oversee and validate the work of the local MES integrator, including system deployment.
- Ensure all MES interfaces are properly integrated, including connections with production equipment and other systems (SAP, PLM, Maintenance).
- Manage and align testing, integration, and qualification phases.
- Provide regular progress reports and highlight critical issues.
- Collaborate with MES counterparts in the other countries to leverage lessons learned from ongoing projects.
- Coordinate with IT colleagues, especially those responsible for networks and data centers.
- Proactively propose actions to mitigate risks.
- Prepare post-deployment support and system maintenance strategies.
- Drive all necessary actions to ensure successful MES deployment and meet project objectives.
- Support company growth and adapt to evolving organizational needs.
- The MES Engineer may be required to participate in on-call duty to support system operations outside regular working hours. (1 Week per month)
Qualifications
Required Skills & Experience
- Fluent in English (French is not mandatory).
- Proven experience in international project management.
- Strong background in MES deployment in industrial environments (preferably DELMIA APRISO).
- Expertise in industrial control systems (various PLC brands).
- In-depth knowledge of industrial communication protocols.

Position Requirements
- Engineering degree in industrial automation or IT.
- Minimum 5 years of experience on MES project deployment.
- Experience in international, matrixed industrial environments.
- Working language: English.
