What makes this role exciting
The French Payroll Specialist is responsible for the entire payroll cycle. The Payroll Specialist will ensure the accuracy of payroll and payroll-related information, following all established statutory requirements and managing the payroll process. The ideal candidate is strongly oriented to high-quality data and results. Clear and accurate communication with clients and with the internal operations team should be performed according to the internal procedures.

Main responsibilities
Manage all payroll activities in line with the monthly payroll calendar and submit the payroll figures monthly.
Ensure the payrolls comply with French legislation and statutory requirements.
Ability to reconcile pre-processing reports to ensure the accuracy of information before processing payroll.
Research discrepancies in payroll information and / or documentation to ensure accuracy and adherence to procedures before processing.
Validation of the payroll outputs
Maintain payroll information, files, and records to provide up-to-date reference and audit trail for compliance.
Analyze payroll-related information to ensure accurate distribution of funds and payroll.
Prepare the monthly payroll reports and upload them to CP platform
Collaborate with the Implementation team to ensure that the handover of new payrolls is transferred to the In-House team successfully
Experience needed for this role
English and French speaking is essential. English level: B2
Expert level of knowledge of local legal requirements, statutory forms, and reporting
Expert level in complex payrolls (BIK, stock options/RSU, non-residents, court order…)
Proven experience in end to end payroll processing at a specialist level
Proficient in business software experience required: Excel, Word, Email Apps, Microsoft Apps
Good decision-making skills and forward-thinking, able to plan and organize own workload
Knowledge of TeamsRH software would be advantageous
Experience working in an international environment would be an advantage
