As
Chief Technology Officer
, you will be part of the leadership team and own the studio's global technical vision. Your mission is to design and execute a long-term technology strategy that supports the growth of the current game and the development of future titles.
This is a hands-on strategic role at the intersection of engineering, product, and business, with a clear mandate to scale systems, teams, and processes over the next few years.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and drive a
multi-year technical strategy
aligned with product goals and studio growth. - Anticipate and address scaling challenges across
engine, backend, frontend, infrastructure, pipelines, security, and internal tools. - Lead technical innovation initiatives and related funding programs (e.g. R&D / tax credit schemes).
- Oversee architecture decisions, tools, and workflows to improve efficiency, reliability, and developer productivity.
- Ensure strong technical quality, risk management, and performance across live and future games.
- Manage and collaborate with external technology partners and vendors.
- Lead, mentor, and structure engineering teams (backend, frontend, tools), promoting best practices, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
- Build, within a defined timeframe, a senior engineering organization capable of supporting
multiple live games.
Profile We're Looking For
We are looking for a seasoned technology leader with deep roots in game development and proven experience scaling teams and systems.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in
video game development,
and ideally experience with
F2P and live mobile games - Strong background as a Lead Engineer or equivalent
- At least 2 years in a CTO or Head of Technology role
- Proven ability to align technical decisions with long-term product and business objectives
- French
professional proficiency is a must
