Position Overview

Deutsche Bank's Rates business leads with scale and strength in providing asset and liability solutions to institutional and corporate clients globally. We give clients access to the Bank's liquidity and product expertise through our global sales, trading, and structuring teams, as well as our electronic trading channels. Our product range includes fixed income securities and derivatives in interest rates, long dated FX, multi-asset correla-tion products and commodities.

With leading market shares in nearly every product and region, success relies on factors such as anticipating the impact of market and regulatory changes to clients' business, and leveraging the Bank's product, research and structuring expertise to offer tailor-made solutions which are customized to meet the specific requirements of each individual client.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting day-to-day market-making activities across peripheral EGBs
  • Building and maintaining relative value models and screeners to identify trading opportunities
  • Assisting in pricing and curve marking for bonds with limited liquidity
  • Collaborating with internal sales and engage with clients to grow the franchise
  • Developping Python-based tools to enhance trading efficiency and decision-making

Skills

  • Strong academic background in Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, or Computer Science
  • Prior internship experience in financial markets (trading, structuring, research, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Python and data analysis
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive mindset
  • Genuine interest in markets and willingness to learn in a high-performance environment
