About the Role:
As the
Engineering Manager
of our "
Core"
team, you'll drive and manage a Software Engineering unit managing a wide scope by providing core data and capabilities to the different Product teams. Your team's focus areas will include:

• Administrating and providing core data models to the different bsport teams (client, studio and locations, staff management, teachers, member data...)
• Leading the implementation of our new "API as a Service" offering
• Provide and maintain core capabilities to other bsport teams like Authentication, our Permission system or a way for large franchise to administrate their studios.
• Manage our Buyables offering by managing our subscription and pass architecture and our retails solution.

What will be your impact:
As a hands-on Engineering Manager, you will:

• Build and lead a high-performing team of Software Engineers to manage the full-lifecycles of your products (backend, front-end, infrastructure...)
• Architect robust systems to deliver a wide range of customizable offering for our members on our mobile apps and web interfaces
• Collaborate closely with key bsport business units to implement new products and provide valuable feedback
• Mentor team members, nurturing their professional growth and development

It would be great if:

• You have substantial experience in any current Object-Oriented backend language (familiarity with Python and Django is a plus)
• You are professionally proficient in English
• You take ownership and pride in building exceptional products
• You're detail-oriented, organized, and an effective communicator
• You thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments and enjoy being challenged
