Founded in 2014 as a public–private initiative, 
CertifHy pioneered Europe's first certification framework for renewable and low-carbon hydrogen

Today, CertifHy plays a leading role in Europe's energy transition. We 
design and run certification systems that help turn renewable hydrogen and e-fuel production into real economic value

Our certification schemes, including the CertifHy EU RFNBO Voluntary Scheme,
provide trusted, recognised certification for renewable and low-carbon hydrogen and their derivatives.

looking for a technical expert to play a key role in building our certification and training content and supporting our user and member base.

Your Mission

As CertifHy technical expert, you will join a team that is passionate about delivering a top-class certification experience to our users and members. You will contribute to building and nurturing the expertise and knowledge within the team and making it a key differentiator from our user and members' perspectives.  

Your Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise to clients throughout the pre-certification and certification lifecycle, with particular focus on GHG accounting methodologies, traceability requirements, and chain-of-custody implementation
• Develop and revise our certification scheme documents in coordination with our internal team and external stakeholders
• Build our technical knowledge for internal purposes and for our stakeholders & system users
• Monitor and report on regulatory, standards, and market developments in certification, traceability, and sustainability data
• Represent CertifHy at events & meetings with regulatory authorities

Your Profile

• Masters degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science or a related science-based discipline
• 2–3 years of experience in a technical role involving greenhouse gas (GHG) or sustainability calculations
• Excellent ability to communicate and explain complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences
• Curious, structured, and impact-driven mindset
• Perfect spoken and written English
• Familiarity with Life-Cycle Assessments (LCA) principles and practical experience applying LCA methodologies is a plus
