If so, then this development engineering position may be a perfect fit for you.The successful applicants will help develop a new software platform looking to make a disruptive impact on metrology within the Industrial Automation sector; as a member of the Research and development team in Renishaw France, you will contribute to the creation, the development, and the release of metrology solution for the automation industry.ResponsibilitiesDeveloping the geometric and optimisation APIs for IAPDContributing to the development of new metrology solution of the automotive industryCollaborating in the generation of the requirements and software designMaintain constant communication with the IAPD teams in France and in the UKBe involved in hardware and software testing.Be involved with customer visits and trainingKey RequirementsAll applicants are required to have the following:Demonstrate technical ability with 3D geometry, optimisation techniques, statisticsIdeally, demonstrate practical experience working with industrial robot.Demonstrable practical experience working with object orientated language(s), ideally C#.Demonstrable practical experience working with WPF and .NET applications.Demonstrable practical experience of working in an agile development environment.A good level in French and English – both written and spokenDegree equivalent qualification in a relative engineering subjectA full driving licenseA full valid passport for overseas travel.Person SpecificationThe successful applicants will be committed, customer focussed, self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision.
