English-Speaking Primary School Teacher — Iféa group

Iféa, a private bilingual (English–French) school group, is recruiting an experienced English-speaking Primary School Teacher (elementary level). We are an independent school of excellence (hors contrat) and look for a caring, demanding, and enthusiastic teacher who loves working in a team.

About the role

You will teach within a bilingual school environment alongside a committed pedagogical team delivering an enriched programme in both English and French. You are open to the world and trained in project-based and collaborative pedagogies, differentiation of learning, and the use of digital tools.

Working closely with colleagues who teach anglophone subjects, you will jointly set learning objectives for each pupil and design differentiated learning pathways to help them reach those goals. You will contribute to strong, constructive relationships with pupils, families and the educational team through your passion for teaching, open mindset and dynamism.

Key responsibilities

  • Create an enthusiastic learning environment that gives meaning to study and transmits a taste for effort.
  • Actively monitor pupil progress and take part in designing and running lessons and activities (based on the national curriculum, enriched and rethought for our bilingual setting).
  • Support pupils in their academic learning and in carrying out individual or group projects.
  • Design and lead learning situations adapted to each pupil's profile in collaboration with the pedagogical team.
  • Communicate easily and constructively with pupils, parents and colleagues.
  • Identify pupils' needs and respond with empathy and professionalism.

Requirements

  • Minimum: Bachelor's degree (equivalent to French Bac+3 / Bac+4) or equivalent qualification.
  • Professional experience: at least 2 years in elementary/primary teaching.
  • Language: strong command of English (teaching level).
  • Trained/experienced in project-based learning, collaborative methods, differentiated instruction and educational digital tools.
  • Team-player, open-minded, patient and high expectations for pupil progress.
