Job Purpose:

Preparation work and low level hardware builds

Responsibilities:

  • Receives, inspects and verifies accuracy of shipping documentation accuracy and incoming products against customer order documentation.
  • Work with planner to prioritise workloads.
  • Readiness of orders for configuration.
  • Initiates appropriate process and documentation to verify order if parts are missing or if there is a problem with the build.
  • Follows appropriate process when build document needs updating or for process improvement.
  • Management of packaging and waste.
  • Integrates a variety of PC hardware.
  • Liaise and work with Configuration Technician II and planners.
  • Re-packaging of completed orders.
  • Shipping on SAP and booking back in to stock.
  • Notifies supervisor or Senior Technicians of more complex problems.
  • Completes verifies that parts are accounted for and no problems exist with the build.
  • Completes appropriate documentation process when parts are defective or break and replaces defective components, etc.... to complete build per specification.

Knowledge Skills and Experience:

  • Demonstrated working knowledge of basic mathematical concepts and the ability to perform basic math calculations.
  • Demonstrated understanding and effective utilization of process guidelines to identify and resolve problems.
  • Basic communication skills both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to understand and follow written instructions.
  • Inspecting incoming products against orders.
  • Two (2) years warehouse experience preferred
  • Combination of formal education, training and directly related job experience.
