A leading institutional digital asset trading firm is building a client-facing trading platform that underpins its market-making and B2B/B2C trading operations. The platform's mission is to create a seamless bridge between internal applications, external services, and user-facing surfaces, while maintaining the performance, security, and reliability expected in institutional environments.

This is a high-impact role with direct exposure to senior leadership and long-term technical ownership.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing high-performance Rust services in production.
  • Building B2B and B2C platform components supporting institutional clients.
  • Working across client-facing systems, situational protocols, and back-office tools.
  • Identifying and addressing existing security gaps, introducing best-in-class engineering practices.
  • Acting as a technical mentor to other engineers.
  • Working directly with the Head of Engineering, with a clear long-term path to step into this role.

Required Background

  • Highly skilled, hands-on Rust experience.
  • Experience building or supporting institutional trading or exchange platforms.
  • Background in market making, trading infrastructure, or exchange connectivity.
  • Experience with client-facing platforms (B2B and/or B2C).
  • Strong communication skills and comfort working directly with senior stakeholders.
  • Security-focused mindset with experience implementing engineering best practices beyond baseline standards.
  • Leadership experience is a major bonus.

  • Hybrid (up to 2 days remote per week)
  • Remote: Available with 1 week onsite per month
