We are now hiring an Onsite Learning & Event Coordinator to join our team as soon as possible.
The Onsite Learning & Event Coordinator plays a pivotal part in shaping the Deloitte University EMEA experience by combining programme delivery support and event management to bring world-class learning, development and celebration to life. The role is responsible for short- and long-term planning as well as onsite preparation to support effective curriculum delivery.
Role description
Programme coordination & delivery support
- Manage logistical coordination of learning programs in collaboration with Learning Delivery Managers, Junior Delivery Managers, Offsite Coordinators, Deloitte University EMEA operator, and external vendors.
- Ensure accurate execution of programme logistics: setup of learning materials, room configurations, coordination with operators.
- Act as the central onsite liaison for all delegates, facilitators, and Learning Delivery Manager - promptly addressing programme-related questions and escalations.
- Support Learning Delivery Managers in all onsite programme-related tasks and preparations.
- Maintain and organize programme materials; ensure inventory accuracy; liaise with printing partners.
- Adhere to Deloitte University EMEA programme processes, standards, and tools; monitor delivery standards; provide feedback for process improvements.
Event coordination
- Coordinate long-term event planning; collect event information and act as single point of contact between event organizers, operators, vendors.
- Interpret event objectives to ensure alignment with Deloitte University EMEA vision and established processes.
- Collaborate closely with scheduling, security, offsite teams - ensuring seamless planning/delivery.
- Conduct pre-event checks: setup review, verification of all requirements, readiness assessments.
- Prepare post-event reports with key outcomes and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Skills
- 1 or 2 years' relevant experience in event management, hospitality, coordination or planning (as an advantage).
- Experience with Cvent (Event Management/OnArrival) and task management tools (TMT) (as an advantage).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Solution-oriented mindset with strong client and stakeholder focus.
- Proactive and resourceful problem-solving approach.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting and manage last-minute changes.
- Flexibility and adaptability to evolving priorities and requirements.
- Professionalism and a strong sense of responsibility.
Education & Languages
- Diploma or equivalent in Event Management, Hospitality or related field (as an advantage).
- Languages: English – fluent; French – advanced; other languages as an advantage.
