The RoleWe're looking for a Senior Platform Engineer / Appliance Developer to join our team and help develop deployment options for our products on clouds architectures, Kubernetes and Virtual machines.
While joining as a Platform Engineer contributing to all missions of the team, this new role would significantly focus on the development of an appliance for virtualized environments.
Your Responsibilities- Start the development of an appliance and become the referent of this deployment option for our products
- Contribute to our other deployment options (kubernetes / public clouds)
- Contribute to the automation & deployment of other tools internally
- You will report to a Platform Engineering manager and work closely with him, Platform Staff Engineers and other Platform Engineers to develop and release an appliance for easy deployment of our products on virtualized environments
- You will collaborate with other engineers to ensure product reliability and scalability, deployment of new features or new products
- You will be part of a collaborative, non-siloed team of ~16 platform engineers
- 4+ years of experience as a Appliance developer, Cloud Engineer, or Platform Engineer
- Previous success in developing an appliance for virtualized environments (OVA, AMI)
- Experience in operating Kubernetes clusters
- Comfortable with remote-first, asynchronous work
- Strong sense of ownership, autonomy, and team spirit
- Full professional proficiency in English, based in Europe with maximum -2/+2h gap from CET timezone
