Quality Assurance Engineer - On-Site - Île-de-France

As Quality Assurance Engineer, your role will be to participate in the validation process of one

of the company's software solutions.

You will be responsible for defining comprehensive test plans, implementing automated tests, and

integrating them into the continuous validation process.

You will also be required to perform manual testing throughout the development cycle and ahead of official releases, in order to suggest improvements, report bugs, and complement or reinforce automated tests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with developers and validation engineers to define and write detailed test plans covering all product functionalities
  • Develop automated tests using Python
  • Maintain and update tests as the product evolves
  • Perform manual validation of the software before each official release
  • Report bugs promptly to the development team
  • Continuously suggest improvements for user experience and other aspects of the product

Required Experience & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in software QA or production-level software development
  • 3+ years of experience in Python or another object-oriented programming language
  • Ability to write technical documentation (English required)

Desirable Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proficiency in JIRA/X-Ray/Jenkins
  • Experience with Squish or similar testing platforms
  • Experience with the Qt framework or similar
  • Experience in the semiconductor industry
  • Experience with EDA (Electronic Design Automation) tools

Education:

  • Degree in Computer Science or Electronics
  • Fluency in both English and French
