My client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated
Senior Digital Design Engineer
to join their innovative Bluetooth IP team within the Wireless Internet of Things (WIoT) Business Unit. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of cutting-edge Bluetooth solutions that power next-generation connectivity platforms. Our advanced wireless technologies, including Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, UWB, and 5G Cellular IoT, are integrated into over a billion devices annually, driving innovation across industries.
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in designing and implementing robust system solutions, ensuring performance and reliability requirements are met. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architecture, system, algorithms, hardware, software, validation, and customer support, to deliver excellence throughout the product development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of the design and verification for advanced Bluetooth/15.4 MAC, PHY, and platform solutions
- Implement digital designs on FPGA alongside the existing RF platform for prototyping
- Support validation teams during product certification and assist the application team with customer support when required
- Plan, track, and provide visibility into work progress
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to team members
- Create and maintain documentation, including micro-architecture, interfaces, and module-level testing
- Drive continuous improvements by contributing to the evolution of processes, technologies, and tools within the work environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, Embedded Systems, or a related field
- 8+ years of proven hands-on experience in digital design
- Strong expertise in Verilog/SystemVerilog coding
- Profound understanding of the digital design lifecycle, including micro-architecture, RTL, testbench, code coverage, synthesis, verification, and co-simulation
- Experience in complex subsystem architecture and integration
- Proficiency in FPGA implementation
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working autonomously
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong project planning and progress tracking abilities
- Fluency in English, both verbal and written
Preferred
- Knowledge of wireless communication protocols in standards such as Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth, UWB, Cellular 3GPP, or
- Familiarity with complex SoC architecture and integration
