Relocation Consultant/ Global Assignment Consultant

The role as a Relocation Consultant, known internally as a Global Assignment Consultant at Sirva, is the primary point of coordination for international assignees for the delivery of various management services offered under their employer's international policies and procedures.

They will support and organize the movement of the clients personnel who are relocating for an international assignment.

A day in the life of a Relocation Consultant includes but is not limited to;

• Coordinate with all internal departments/functions to ensure a successful assignee experience.
• Manage communication process and ensure quality of service delivery.
• Communicate with the client's HR contacts on any issues impacting the employee and family.
• Provide assignee status updates, keeping the client abreast of issues and offering solutions as they arise.
• Provide on-going consultation to the assignee during the entire length of the international assignment

Ideal Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum 2 years of logistics experience OR 3 years of related customer service experience
• Knowledge of international assignment management and global business an advantage
• Strong organizational skills; the ability to function as part of a team while acting as a self-starter
• PC proficiency – Multiple systems to learn.
