Globalization Software Development Engineer | Paris or Lyon | Hybrid

We're working with Aquent on this exciting opportunity. Join a leading technology company to shape the future of digital creativity by ensuring cutting-edge 3D products reach a global audience. This role offers a unique chance to influence user experience across diverse cultures and languages.

The Role


• Collaborate with 3D product and web application teams on internationalization and localization for desktop and web platforms.


• Identify and resolve globalization issues early in development, advocating for global readiness.


• Build, optimize, and maintain localization infrastructure and pipelines for frequent releases and complex content.


• Develop internal tools, plug-ins, and automation to streamline I18N/L10N processes.


• Partner with engineering, design, QE, and product teams to ensure fully internationalized UI/UX, user flows, and assets.


• Support advanced multilingual UX strategies, including RTL layouts, CJK font rendering, and locale-specific behaviors in 3D experiences.

What You'll Need


• BS or MS in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.


• Proficiency in C++, TypeScript, JavaScript, and Python for both desktop and web application development.


• Solid understanding of Unicode, character encoding (UTF-8/UTF-16), locale-aware formatting, font handling, and bidirectional text.


• Familiarity with UI/frontend frameworks like Qt and React, and their internationalization ecosystems.


• Experience building or maintaining localization pipelines, tools, or automation systems.


• Strong grasp of modern development practices, including Git workflows and CI/CD.
