We are looking for an experienced Parfumer Assistant ( fixed term contract of 6 months) supporting the CPA FF Department through accurate and timely weighing of fragrance formulas, maintaining the raw material inventory, and ensuring quality control through organoleptic checks.

Where You'll Make a Difference

  • Weighing of formula of the CPA FF Department – formula must be weighed accurately and in a timely manner
  • Maintaining Raw material collection
    • Materials must be well labeled and stock up on a routine manner
  • The collection of raw materials must be maintained via SAP software to ensure traceability
  • Organoleptic control (appearance, color, odor) must be done at each use.
  • Communicate with the team of perfumer analysts if specific raw materials need to be used.
  • Application of weighed formulas to the required dosage
  • Management of the perfumers' concentrates
  • Management of an Excel sheet available in teams in order to follow the projects, to organize the compounding and for the perfumers analysts to know the status of their project (in progress, finalized or other)
  • Respect of the protocol of weighing CMR / STOT.
  • Safety and cleanliness of the work area – work bench, common areas and equipment must be tidied up at the end of each day and materials used must be returned to their proper designated areas after use. Laboratory equipment should be kept in good condition. Any abnormalities or near misses incidents should be reported to the manager.

What Makes You the Right Fit

  • Diploma in chemical disciplines
  • 1- or 2-year experience in laboratory works
  • Compounding Skills - Experience or knowledge of using a precision balance
  • Experience in a fragrance house
  • Good command of pack office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with SAP is appreciated
  • Good knowledge & respect of lab safety rules
  • Knowledge on raw materials storage
