Job Summary

The Sr. Financial Analyst serves in a position of analytical leadership through financial planning and analysis for the business. This position provides an opportunity to collaborate closely with a diverse set of business functions in the process of reporting, analyzing, and interpreting meaningful conclusions for business results. Lead activities for reporting and presentations related to annual budgets, P&L forecasts, business metrics, and departmental support. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of Corporate Finance and Accounting and can support the strategic and operational objectives of the business.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage internal financial reporting, including in-depth financial models and presentation material for internal stakeholders
  • Manage internal forecasting and revenue recognition processes across operational, accounting, and development units
  • Oversight of revenue and forecasting quality and audit controls
  • Manage Monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
  • Financial Analysis including in-depth Gross Margin by Line of Business and product
  • Prepare presentations for internal stakeholders
  • Assist in various corporate finance analyses, including KPIs, metrics
  • Complete monthly close activities and accounting entries
  • Support ad hoc requests from CFO/Director Finance and miscellaneous special projects as needed

Education, Experience, and Skills

  • 5+ years of FP&A experience within a corporate setting or 5+ years in public accounting (Big 4 or regional firm)
  • BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Economics (or a related discipline) preferred
  • CPA strongly preferred
  • MS Excel and PowerPoint expert
  • Effective communication, presentation, and writing skills
  • Detail oriented with insight to determine the applicability of big picture analysis
  • Ability to work comfortably with incomplete information and deal with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work within a team, take initiative, and show strong attention to detail is critical
  • Ability to create concise analyses to support decision making is essential
  • Proactive problem solver, expected to present problems and recommendations simultaneously
  • Positive attitude, commitment to excellence, and integrity
