Location: Monaco
Capacity: 10 Guests & 10 Crew
Contract: Seasonal, From April to end of October
Salary: €7,000 to €9,500 DOE / monthly
Start Date: End of April
Guests: 2 adults and 3 children, occasionally up to 12 guests
Job description:
This is a seasonal Sole Chef position on a 45m private motor yacht based in Monaco and operating under a Monegasque flag and work contract.
The role involves working between the yacht and the family's private property in South of France, offering a varied but relaxed working environment. The position is not highly demanding; however, flexibility is essential and considered key to success in this role.
The Sole Chef will be fully responsible for all food preparation on board and at the family property, with a strong focus on healthy, fresh, high-quality cuisine. Mediterranean-style cooking with an emphasis on fresh fish and clean, nutritious meals is required. Menus should be well balanced and suitable for both adults and children, while also meeting guest expectations when entertaining.
The owner of the vessel is a young familly, low key and non-demanding individuals who do not eat seafood or shelfish.
The yacht operates with a crew of 10. The chef will cater mainly for two adult and three children, with guest numbers occasionally increasing to a maximum of 10. The ability to adapt menus, portion sizes, and service style depending on the situation is important.
Candidates must hold valid STCW and ENG1 certificates. The role requires a professional, organised, and independent Sole Chef who is comfortable managing the galley alone.
