IT Procurement Buyer – PERMANENT – PARIS (17th)

About Us

Pontoon, a global leader in outsourced HR solutions (recruitment, temporary workforce management, and professional training), is strengthening its MSP teams by hiring an IT Procurement Consultant on a permanent basis in Paris.

You will work in an international environment within a team spread across multiple countries, managing IT procurement and overseeing a panel of external suppliers (ESNs).

Role Overview

Reporting to the Coordinator, you will handle operational IT and indirect procurement activities. You will ensure process consistency, data quality, and the proper application of procurement practices within a VMS tool (SAP Fieldglass), while contributing to stakeholder satisfaction and supplier follow-up.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and qualify IT procurement requests with a panel of external suppliers,
  • Conduct tenders and analyze commercial proposals,
  • Lead pricing negotiations with suppliers,
  • Enter and track data in SAP Fieldglass (contracts, suppliers, deadlines),
  • Prepare and update regular reports,
  • Ensure data quality and adherence to processes,
  • Suggest improvements and contribute to the optimization of VMS tools and practices,
  • Train and support internal users on the tool,
  • Maintain smooth communication with stakeholders and ensure client satisfaction.

Candidate Profile

  • Master's degree (Bac+5) in Business, Management, or Procurement,
  • First experience in IT procurement or in the ESN sector is appreciated,
  • Proficient in Excel; knowledge of SAP Fieldglass is a plus,
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and strong negotiation skills,
  • Fluent in French and English (mandatory).

Conditions

  • Contract: Permanent, starting as soon as possible,
  • Location: Paris 17th (2 days on-site / 3 days remote),
  • Salary: €36–40k fixed + 10% variable, depending on profile,
  • Environment: International, dynamic team with strong exposure to IT procurement / ESNs
