VC Analyst Intern

Disclaimer : As of January 2026, we're not hiring at the moment, but we're happy to accept applications and consider them for future openings.Wind is looking for a Venture Capital Analyst Intern to join our investment team in Paris and help us identify, evaluate, and support the most promising deeptech and climate tech startups in Europe.

You'll work closely with our team of investors on every step of the process — from sourcing and market research to due diligence and portfolio support. This internship is a unique opportunity to dive deep into the VC world, explore frontier technologies, and play an active role in building a high-impact, high-conviction portfolio.

As an intern on the investment team, you'll be involved in every stage of the investment journey. Here's what your day-to-day might look like:

• Sourcing & Market Research

• Explore specific sectors in depth and map out the competitive landscape

• Review inbound opportunities and help identify the most promising startups

• Attend ecosystem events and grow meaningful relationships with founders and other investors

• Dealflow & Investment Analysis

• Take part in due diligence and support key steps in the evaluation process

• Write clear, insightful investment memos and internal recommendations

• Help the team prepare for discussions and investment committee meetings

• Portfolio Support & Internal Projects

• Assist in monitoring how portfolio companies are doing and support LP reporting

• Contribute to ongoing strategic work—whether that's building out investment theses, experimenting with AI tools, or supporting ESG initiatives

You might be a great fit if you…

• Feel comfortable working in French (our daily language) and speak fluent English—additional languages are a big plus
• Enjoy breaking down complex topics and have strong analytical and synthesis skills
• Are genuinely curious about deeptech and science-driven innovation
• Work with a high degree of autonomy, precision, and intellectual rigor
• Have experience in fast-paced, demanding environments—like VC, startups, M&A, strategy consulting, engineering, research, product, or data
• Bring coding skills to the table (definitely a bonus)

CONDITIONS

• Duration : Minimum 6 months
  
  → Ideally suited for students in the final year of their studies or taking a gap year
• Experience : We are seeking candidates with a minimum of one completed internship. Two would be a plus
• Location : Based in Paris, with the possibility to work remotely from another EU capital
• Status : Full-time internship requiring a convention de stage (internship agreement) from your university
