Context :
Axens Project Operations Business Division (POP) mission is to provide advanced technologies, basic engineering design, modular units design and technical services to its customers.

We are looking for an intern for the POP Process Department.

In the Process Department we work on basic engineering projects and Modular Units Projects development for our customers but also on new technologies development.

In order to improve one of our technologies involved in refining and petrochemical production, we are looking for an intern to work on
design methods & tools
related to
mechanical processes
.

Tasks and activities:

  • Application of simplification guidelines provided by Process Experts
  • Standardization of design tools among all mechanical processes
  • Improvement of mechanical drawing design and drafting
  • Development of training supports for process engineer
  • Development of new procedures for design and fabrication with help of drafting and equipment department.
  • Bibliographic work and classification of mechanical process design guidelines

Profile :

  • Currently in your 2 nd or 3rd year of engineer school specialized in Mechanical Engineering
  • You are looking for a six-months internship.
  • You are interested in mechanical design and ideally know how to use SolidWorks and AutoCad software.
  • A good level of English is mandatory.
