Position overview

As Pastry Chef, you bring creativity, precision, and consistency to all dessert offerings. You are responsible for producing high-quality pastries, cakes, and desserts while ensuring excellent hygiene, organization, and presentation in line with Nikki Beach standards. Desserts are a key part of the Nikki Beach experience, and your work helps create memorable moments for our guests.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare a wide variety of desserts including cakes, pastries, breads, and pies
• Decorate and plate desserts with creativity and strong visual attention
• Follow recipes, portioning, and presentation guidelines consistently
• Control daily deliveries and manage stock for the pastry section
• Ensure hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards are always met
• Assist in developing new pastry items aligned with the Nikki Beach brand
• Monitor productivity, speed, and quality during service
• Support cost control, waste reduction, and proper stock rotation
• Train and support junior pastry staff when required
• Communicate clearly with kitchen and service teams

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2–4 years of experience as a Pastry Chef or Pastry Cook in a professional, high-volume kitchen environment.
• Passionate about pastry and dessert creation
• Detail-oriented, creative, and visually focused
• Reliable, organized, and calm under pressure
• A strong team player with good communication skills
