Usual is looking for someone who can own the conversation — on Discord, on X, and across the entire DeFi ecosystem.

This is not a "post cute memes and vibe-check the community" role.

This is frontline communication for a protocol that's building one of the most serious stablecoin infrastructures in DeFi.

What you'll do
  • Run the Discord like a pro

    Fast responses, clear announcements, tight atmosphere, zero bullshit.

    You set the tone. You enforce the rules. You keep the place sharp, safe, and useful.
  • Lead and align the moderators

    Tone of voice, escalation, initiatives, culture — you're the captain of the room.
  • Take over both Usual X accounts (main + intern/alt)

    Build complementary strategies.

    Announce updates. Start conversations. Ping KOLs, protocols, founders, fintechs.

    Jump into relevant threads. Push the narrative. Shape the industry debate.
  • Become the voice of Usual across social media

    Supported by our CMO, who kickstarted a high-quality communication culture —

    your job is to push it further: narrative, campaigns, education, media presence, thought leadership.

This role is central.

You will speak for the protocol in real time.

People will feel the impact of your words instantly.

  • You have deep DeFi understanding (not surface-level).
  • You know how decentralized communities think, react, FOMO, and fight.
