hospitality organization
is seeking an accomplished
Vice President of Finance & Accounting
to lead its financial strategy, governance, and reporting.

Based near
Niece
, this executive will drive financial transformation, establish best-in-class internal controls, and support the company's continued growth across international markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of
    financial management
    , including accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and business performance.
  • Develop and implement
    strong internal controls
    ,
    policies
    , and
    process improvements
    to ensure compliance and transparency.
  • Lead
    M&A financial due diligence
    , deal structuring, and post-acquisition integration.
  • Manage
    accounting system and ERP implementations
    , ensuring scalability and efficiency across global operations.
  • Partner with executive leadership to deliver strategic financial insights supporting long-term planning and decision-making.
  • Lead and mentor finance teams to build a culture of excellence, accountability, and collaboration.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and Board on all financial and operational matters.

Qualifications

  • Recognized European accounting qualification
    , such as
    ACCA, ACA (ICAEW), Chartered Accountant (UK/Ireland), Expert-Comptable (France), Wirtschaftsprüfer (Germany)
    , or an
    equivalent designation to the U.S. CPA
    .
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics;
    MBA or Master's degree
    preferred.
  • Public/private mix experience
    required, ideally beginning in a
    Big 4 or top-tier audit firm,
    followed by progressive corporate finance roles.
  • Demonstrated experience developing
    internal controls
    ,
    financial processes
    , and
    governance frameworks
    .
  • Proven track record in
    M&A
    ,
    financial integration
    , and
    systems implementation
    .
  • Familiarity with
    U.S. GAAP
    (in addition to IFRS) is
    a plus
    .
  • Background in the
    hospitality industry

    preferred
    .
  • Strong leadership, communication, and executive presence.
  • Must be
    eligible to work in the European Union
    or hold
    EU citizenship
    .
