business is seeking an experienced
Quality Analyst
professional to lead and execute testing activities across multiple software applications and ensure proper governance of software changes through the Change Management process. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in
manual testing
,
test design
, and
defect management
, with exposure to
CRM platforms (preferably Salesforce)
and a willingness to progressively expand into
test automation
and
API testing
as the QA function evolves.

Position Responsibilities Include (but Are Not Limited To)

• Create detailed manual test scenarios and test scripts by analyzing user stories, business requirements, and acceptance criteria.
• Perform manual functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing across web and CRM-based applications (Salesforce experience preferred).
• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts (Selenium, API) as automation coverage expands over time.
• Implement and maintain test automation frameworks using Selenium (Java/Python) and API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured, etc.).
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing to ensure system stability across environments.
• Document and track defects using tools such as JIRA, Zendesk, or Azure DevOps, and support root cause analysis.
• Review, validate, and document software change requests (CRs) as part of GLG's Software Change Management
• Participate in Change Advisory Board (CAB) reviews and provide quality-related risk and readiness assessments.
• Ensure alignment between change requests, test evidence, and release documentation for audit and compliance.
• Support post-implementation reviews (PIRs) and provide feedback to improve release and testing efficiency.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Development, DevOps, and Release Management teams to maintain quality and control throughout the software lifecycle.

Position Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in software testing and automation, with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver (Java or Python).
• Proficiency in API automation using Postman, RestAssured, or equivalent tools.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• Working knowledge of Software Change Management processes (ITIL or ISO27001 environments preferred).
• Experience with issue/change tracking tools such as JIRA or ServiceNow.
• Detail-oriented individual with excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Team-focused individual able to work cross-functionally with multiple business units.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Familiarity with test management tools (TestRail, Zephyr) and version control systems (Git).
• Exposure to audit or compliance-driven environments (ISO27001, SOC2).
• ISTQB or ITIL Foundation certification
