The Role

As an ESG Analyst Intern, you will play a key role in supporting the production and continuous improvement of Iceberg Data Lab's environmental impact indicators. Working closely with senior ESG Analysts, Data Scientists, and the Research team, you will contribute directly to client-facing analyses and innovative research projects at the intersection of sustainability, data, and finance. This role offers hands-on exposure to real-world ESG challenges in a fast-growing Green Fintech environment.

Based in Paris

Start Date : February 2026

Reporting to : Senior member of the ESG Analysts Team

Compensation : 1 350 euros

What You'll do :

• Assess companies and collect the data needed for environmental-footprint calculations; collaborate with the Data Team on collection processes.
• Quantify environmental impacts across topics such as biodiversity, climate, and financial risk.
• Conduct critical reviews of results and engage with clients to explain the methodology and findings.
• Support the Research team in methodological development.

As an ESG Analyst intern, you will join a young, multidisciplinary, international, results-driven team committed to accelerating the transition to a green, resource-efficient, and fair economy. This internship is also an opportunity to develop sought-after skills (Life Cycle Assessment, data analysis, impact assessment) and to work in an innovative start-up.Master's student with a strong academic background.

• Scientific/engineering background.
• Knowledge of sustainability concepts and financial statements.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently.
• Fluency in English is a must; French appreciated; German a plus.
• Strong proficiency in Excel.
