Introduction
Do you have a deep technical background in agronomy and a passion for working directly with growers to transform agricultural practices? Our client, a purpose-driven leader in natural materials supplied into a wide variety of FMCG sectors, is seeking a
Regenerative Agriculture & Agronomy Lead
to shape and implement regenerative agriculture programs across Europe. This role is field-focused and requires hands-on expertise in crop trials, varietal testing, and certification strategies, combining science, strategy, and practical application to deliver measurable impact.

Why This Role Matters
In this role, you will translate technical agronomy knowledge into tangible results on the ground. You'll lead field trials, design pilot projects, and work side-by-side with growers to improve soil health, crop performance, and biodiversity. Your expertise in varietal trials and agronomic best practices will ensure the company develops robust, science-backed programs that meet the demands of sustainable agriculture while aligning with commercial and regulatory goals.

You will also play a central role in certification and traceability initiatives, guiding teams through Organic, RFA, UEBT, and other relevant frameworks. This is an opportunity to influence both strategy and execution: your work will shape how the company sources natural ingredients, supports growers, and advances regenerative practices across multiple crops and regions.

Finally, this position offers a unique blend of autonomy and collaboration. You'll partner with internal teams in Procurement, R&D, Quality, and Sustainability to embed agronomy at every stage of sourcing and production, while also building external partnerships with research institutes, NGOs, and growers to drive innovation and measurable impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of regenerative agriculture programs across multiple crops and regions.
  • Collaborate directly with growers to develop and scale sustainable farming practices.
  • Plan, execute, and analyse varietal trials and field projects to improve crop performance and resilience.
  • Guide certification strategies (Organic, RFA, UEBT, etc.) to ensure traceable and credible sourcing.
  • Provide agronomic expertise across internal teams to integrate regenerative practices into sourcing, R&D, and quality systems.
  • Represent the company externally, fostering partnerships to advance sustainable agriculture initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • Strong academic and practical background in agronomy (non-negotiable).
  • Proven hands-on experience supporting growers in the field, including varietal trials and crop performance testing.
  • Experience developing and implementing certification and traceability programs.
  • Deep knowledge of regenerative and sustainable agriculture systems.
  • Ability to translate technical agronomy into actionable programs and measurable outcomes.
  • Strong communicator, comfortable collaborating across functions and with external partners.
  • Fluent in French and English.

Additional Information

  • Hybrid role based in France with regular travel across key European growing regions.
  • Opportunity to lead tangible impact in regenerative agriculture, working directly with growers.
  • Collaborative and innovative environment, with freedom to experiment and shape global agricultural strategy.
