We are seeking a Mid-Level Automated Testing Software Developer to strengthen our mission-critical ICAM program. The selected candidate will help build, maintain, and evolve our in-house automation framework, ensuring system reliability, performance, and quality. This is a hands-on development role focused on writing, improving, and integrating automated tests while also contributing to the program's long-term test automation strategy.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable to new frameworks and tools, and passionate about advancing test automation practices. While the current framework is built in Java using Selenium and Cucumber, we are exploring migration paths to Playwright and improved requirements traceability using tools like QMetry. This role offers an opportunity to directly impact the direction of our automation ecosystem while contributing as a strong individual contributor within an Agile environment.
GENERAL DUTIES:
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks, libraries, and tools in support of program-wide testing needs.

- Support integration of automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline (Jenkins, GitLab).
- Contribute to the overall testing strategy, including traceability between requirements, test cases, and results.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and document issues discovered during automated and manual testing.
- Monitor the health of the test automation framework and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure alignment of testing efforts with system requirements.
- Execute existing manual test procedures where necessary and document findings.
- Support Agile ceremonies and practices in alignment with SAFe methodologies.
- Use Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket) for documentation, source control, and tracking development activities.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 2–5 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with at least 2 years of experience.
- Hands-on experience developing automated tests using Selenium and/or Playwright.

- Strong understanding of software testing phases including planning, functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Experience testing web applications across UI, service, and back-end layers.

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins and Ansible
- Ability to work independently, debug complex issues, and deliver high-quality results.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint).
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with test case traceability tools such as QMetry or Zephyr.
