Position Overview
We're looking for a Shopify Manager who will serve as a dependable execution partner for our clients, owning the day-to-day management and optimization of their Shopify stores. This role is critical in ensuring stores run smoothly, updates are implemented accurately, and issues are resolved quickly to protect performance and revenue. You'll work hands-on inside multiple live stores, translating client requests into clean, effective Shopify executions with minimal oversight. Success in this role means reliability, precision, and the ability to confidently handle both routine updates and unexpected issues.
Requirements/Experience:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience managing Shopify stores in an agency, eCommerce brand, or similar fast-paced environment
- Strong working knowledge of Shopify admin, including products, collections, inventory, pricing, and discounts
- Proven experience with subscription platforms such as Recharge, Skio, and Shopify Subscriptions
- Experience installing, configuring, and managing Shopify apps, including bundle and subscription-related apps
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve common Shopify issues related to products, carts, and checkout flows
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and execution skills
- Comfortable working independently, prioritizing tasks, and managing multiple stores simultaneously
- Clear communicator who can understand client requests and execute them accurately without constant direction
Roles & Responsibilities for this position:
- Manage day-to-day Shopify tasks across multiple client stores, ensuring updates are implemented accurately, efficiently, and on time
- Add, edit, and maintain products, including titles, descriptions, images, variants, SKUs, and pricing, ensuring consistency and accuracy across the storefront
- Organize collections and product tagging to support merchandising, navigation, and promotional strategies
- Set up and manage inventory levels and pricing rules to ensure stores remain operational and aligned with client requirements
- Install, configure, and maintain Shopify apps, ensuring they function correctly and integrate smoothly with existing store setups
- Build and manage advanced product setups such as product bundles, subscription products, and related configurations based on client needs
- Work hands-on with subscription platforms including Recharge, Skio, and Shopify Subscriptions to ensure proper setup, functionality, and ongoing maintenance
- Diagnose and resolve common Shopify issues, including broken product pages, cart malfunctions, and checkout-related problems, minimizing disruption to customer experience and revenue
- Jump into existing Shopify stores, quickly understand their structure and setup, and execute client requests with minimal supervision
- Maintain a high standard of quality control by testing changes and fixes before and after implementation to ensure everything works as intended
