Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Public Relations Manager to oversee and enhance our organisation's public image. The successful candidate will develop and implement strategic communication plans, foster positive relationships with media outlets, and manage all aspects of our public profile. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the organisation's reputation and communicate its core values effectively to diverse audiences. Candidates should possess a strong background in public relations, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to media engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive public relations strategies aligned with organisational goals.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with journalists, media outlets, and industry influencers.
  • Prepare press releases, media statements, and other communication materials that effectively convey key messages.
  • Organise press conferences, interviews, and promotional events to maximise positive exposure.
  • Monitor media coverage and analyse public perception of the organisation's brand.
  • Manage crisis communications swiftly and professionally to protect organisational reputation.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
  • Oversee social media platforms, ensuring content aligns with organisational voice and objectives.
  • Track the effectiveness of PR campaigns through relevant metrics and reports.

Experience

  • Proven track record in public relations or corporate communications roles.
  • Strong understanding of media relations, press release writing, and crisis management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in British English and French.
  • Experience organising events or press conferences is desirable.
  • Ability to work under pressure while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with digital media platforms and social media management tools is advantageous. This role is ideal for a professional passionate about shaping organisational narratives and building lasting relationships with the community and media alike.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 30,000.00€ - 40,000.00€ per year
