Job Description Summary

JOB PURPOSE

On the basis of activities assigned by his/her hierarchical superiors, the resident technician carries out maintenance and repair work on equipment at a customer site (analyses, in-depthdiagnostics, repairs).

SIGNIFICANT ACTIVITIES

- Carry out functional and performance tests on equipment before and after intervention
- Carrying out in-depth diagnostics
- Repair equipment in the workshop
- Carry out work to bring equipment into compliance with regulatory controls or manufacturer requests
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment (overhauls, etc.) based on maintenance plans and operating procedures
- Parameterize hardware based on customer application
- Understand and use technical documentation (manuals, data sheets, etc.)
- Provide technical advice to workshop participants
- Complete the various business documents and tools relating to operations (reports, etc.). hours worked, logbooks, etc.)
- Report daily on activities to line management (alerts, tasks carried out, etc.)

RESPONSIBILITIES AND SCOPE FOR ACTION

- Guarantees the quality and timeliness of equipment repairs and maintenance
- Ensures that equipment complies with regulatory controls
- Ensures that the workstation and tools provided comply with regulations
- Keep to standard times
- Know and strictly apply health and safety rules (personal protective equipment, procedures, etc.)
- Know and strictly apply environmental rules (sorting, anti-contamination, etc.)
- Know and apply internal and external compliance procedures and rules

PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE

Diploma(s) and/or experience(s)

Vocational baccalaureate in maintenance, mechanics or electrical engineering and/or 3 years' significant experience preferred

Specific knowledge(s)

Technical skill(s)

- Knowledge professional in the field technical (mechanical, electrical electrical engineering, hydraulics, etc.)
- Professional knowledge of products (ranges, functions, etc.)
- General knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations
- Basic knowledge of IT tools and information systems
