What we're looking for:
We're looking for a self-employed Sales Account Manager in France to expand our customer base, manage inbound & outbound inquiries, and build long-term relationships with restaurants, cafés, and other foodservice businesses. The ideal candidate will drive account development and market penetration (France & Belgium), proactively identifying opportunities and converting them into sustainable business. Strong relationship-building skills and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service are essential for success in this role.
About the company:
We're a Finnish company with 15 years of packaging experience, now expanding across Europe. We supply custom-printed takeaway packaging directly to clients from top manufacturers, combining high quality with affordable pricing.
Responsibilities:
- Client Acquisition & Outreach:
Proactively identify and reach out to potential B2B clients (restaurants, cafés, catering services, and marketing agencies) in France and Belgium to grow the customer base. - Account Management:
Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business. - Sales Execution:
Prepare quotes, negotiate deals within pricing guidelines, and close sales opportunities to meet or exceed targets. - Inbound & Outbound Communication:
Manage incoming inquiries promptly and perform targeted follow-ups to maximize conversion rates. - Reporting & CRM Management:
Keep accurate records of client interactions, sales progress, and pipeline activities in CRM (Pipedrive), ensuring data-driven decision-making.
Key requirements:
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management (B2B preferred).
- Comfortable and confident with cold calling (~120–150 calls/week).
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills in French; English is a plus.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently while collaborating with a team.
- Ability to manage multiple clients and priorities efficiently, maintaining high standards of customer service.
- Understanding of sales performance metrics and KPIs.
- Proficient in CRM software.

This is a freelance/auto-entrepreneur role. Please apply only if you are registered as self-employed in France or are willing to register.
What we offer:
- Base salary:
€1,500/month during the 3-month trial, increasing to €1,800/month thereafter. - Performance bonuses:
Achievable monthly incentives for turnover targets, new client signings, repeat customer orders, add-on product sales, and seasonal/campaign goals. - Growth potential:
