Missions of the job

As Poultry Marketing Manager - RCM "Animal Resilience", you are responsible for designing and implementing the marketing and business development plan for poultry solutions and the Animal Resilience category within the EU & CIS region.

You will manage and develop the product portfolio, with the objective of driving sales growth and maximizing profitability. Acting as a product and species champion, you will enable sales through well-defined strategies, market intelligence, and technical support.

You will serve as the link between the central SBU and the region, ensuring alignment of global strategies with local market needs. In this role, you will maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders (Regional Director, Area and Species Managers, Business Development, Marketing and Technical teams) and external partners to secure sales budgets, product positioning, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Strategy and Leadership
  • Define and implement the poultry species strategy for the region, ensuring consistency with global objectives and market trends.
  • Lead the Animal Resilience category in the region, developing go-to-market strategies and ensuring strong visibility with customers.
  • Act as product and species champion, building expertise and transferring knowledge to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Sales and Business Development
  • Manage the sales budget (sales, margin, forecast, and pipeline development) in close collaboration with the regional director, ASM's and STSM's.
  • Contribute actively to demand forecasting and participate in monthly regional reviews to ensure product availability with CS/SC.
  • Support sales teams and distributors through technical training, field visits, and development of tailored solutions for KA and GKA customers.
  • Ensure the successful launch of new products and solutions in poultry and Animal Resilience categories.
  • Adapt product pricing guidelines from SBU to the regional context, maintaining competitiveness while ensuring profitability.
  • Marketing and Market Intelligence
  • Conduct market analysis to monitor trends, customer needs, and competitor positioning, and integrate findings into business planning.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies and action plans for poultry and Animal Resilience, aligned with regional priorities.
  • Work with regional marketing and technical teams to deliver impactful campaigns, events, and customer support materials.
  • Contribute to the regional marketing plan, ensuring alignment with sales objectives and innovation roadmaps.
  • Customer and Stakeholder Engagement
  • Maintain regular contact with KA and GKA accounts to understand customer challenges, identify opportunities, and propose tailored solutions.
  • Represent Adisseo at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings, enhancing brand recognition and technical credibility.
  • Ensure effective collaboration and information flow between regional teams, other Species and Category Managers, and the global SBU.
  • Innovation and Projects
  • Provide technical and market input for innovation and R&D projects in poultry and Animal Resilience.
  • Identify opportunities for new product concepts based on customer feedback and scientific insights.
  • Support the design and implementation of feeding trials and proof-of-concept projects to validate efficacy and generate technical arguments.

Qualifications

Hard Skills

  • Strong expertise in poultry nutrition and physiology.
  • Knowledge of feed additives and animal resilience solutions.
  • 3–5 years of experience in the feed industry (technical, marketing, and/or sales).
  • Solid understanding of market analysis, product management, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Fluency in English and at least one regional language (French is a plus).
  • Travel: 20–30%.

  • Customer- and sales-oriented mindset with strong business acumen.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with creativity and innovative thinking.

Education

  • Degree in Agricultural Engineering, Animal Nutrition, Marketing, Veterinary Medicine, or related field.
  • Business or Marketing specialization is considered an advantage.
