Context

Within our fast-growing Financial Services track, you'll be the bridge between strategic vision and operational execution.

Your mission: transform our ambitions into concrete results by building the operational infrastructure that will enable our sales and customer success teams to perform at their highest level.

You'll have a direct impact on customer acquisition and activation by identifying growth levers, eliminating operational friction, and leading high-value projects.

How will you contribute to the project?

You'll be accountable for the acquisition & activation performance of the Financial Services track:

  • Operational enabler: you'll streamline day-to-day operations for client-facing teams by automating low-value tasks and optimizing processes
  • Performance driver: you'll monitor key KPIs, identify bottlenecks, and deliver concrete solutions
  • Strategic project leader: you'll drive cross-functional initiatives with high impact and direct visibility to top management
  • A fast-learning opportunity in a dynamic environment where you'll be a key player in our growth story.

Missions

Strategic planning & execution

  • Partner with Product, Sales, and Customer Success leadership to define and implement operational roadmaps aligned with business objectives
  • Design scalable processes to support growing sales and account management teams
  • Equip teams with the right tools and automate repetitive tasks to maximize productivity

Data-driven decision making

  • Lead comprehensive analyses to identify growth opportunities and operational inefficiencies (focus on acquisition/activation)
  • Translate data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations
  • Leverage SQL to conduct independent analyses

Cross-functional project leadership

  • Spearhead strategic initiatives end-to-end: from ideation to deployment and results measurement
  • Orchestrate multi-stakeholder projects with competing priorities
  • Serve as the operational nexus between the Financial Services track and cross-functional teams (Sales, AM, Product, Tech)

Performance management

  • Own a track OKR on acquisition & activation, ensuring clarity of objectives and accountability for results
  • Build robust dashboards to monitor performance in real-time
  • Proactively identify performance gaps and deploy corrective action plans

‍ Profile we are looking for

Must-haves :

  • 2-4 years of experience in Strategy & Operations with a demonstrable track record in scaling business operations
  • Strong analytical skills: SQL proficiency (or strong willingness to learn quickly) and data analysis tools
  • Ability to structure and prioritize: you can juggle multiple projects without losing sight of what matters most
  • Excellent communication: you can distill complex concepts clearly and persuade diverse stakeholders
  • Impact-oriented mindset: you identify root causes and develop pragmatic, innovative solutions

Nice-to-have :

  • Experience in a B2B tech scale-up
  • Knowledge of accounting or fintech sectors
  • Proficiency in BI tools (Metabase)

Depending on the teams and the requirements of the position - you'll be able to work remotely from your country of residence, as long as it is in Europe and within a maximum time difference of two hours from the CET time zone

We are committed to regularly coming together for company events such as Tech Days (which bring remote Pennylaners together every 3 months) or our annual company seminar, fostering significant moments of cohesion for everyone.

If you are based in France, you will have a French contract following French regulation on top of the additional perks : 6 to 12 RTT, 5 weeks PTOs, lunch credits (Swile), Alan Blue healthcare cover and regular events in cities where Pennylaners are mostly presents (Lyon, Bordeaux, Nantes…)

We're working on providing those last advantages to our people based outside of France as well, but it can be quite more complex depending on different countries.
