Junior Backend Engineer

Full time - Paris onsite/hybridKiln is now part of the prestigious French Government program #FT120 from La French TechAs a Junior Backend Engineer at Kiln, you will join our Software Team, to build the future of our SaaS/API-first products []. You will report to our Head of Software, and collaborate with the Product, Infrastructure and Smart-Contract teams to work on the various products that Kiln's offers.Responsibilities:Develop and implement software features in our Golang services (data aggregators, APIs, Blockchain Transaction crafting, ...).Take part in automation, testing, and CI/CD processes.Participate in code review, bug fixing, code maintenance.Ensure that our services communicate with each other seamlessly, have minimal downtime, and recover quickly.Make sure we respect any software security norms (Kiln is a SOC 2 Type 1 and Type 2 company).Actively suggest continuous improvement of Kiln's platform and engineering practices.Communicate with other Kiln teams to help them understand the Software roadmap and technical challenges.Stack:Software: Go, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, REST API…Smart-contract: Solidity, FoundryInfrastructure: GCP, AWS, Kubernetes100+ Go services processing data for 15+ blockchains200Gb of raw data processed every day2Tb of staking data available through our Kiln Connect APIRequirements:+1 year of experience as Software Engineer (Backend), designing, building, and deploying user-facing, infrastructure-related, and/or API-based products.First Golang programming experience — ideally a professional experience in a production environment or proven personal experience (eg.
