JOB DESCRIPTION & MAIN TASKS

Our activities and reputation have grown considerably in recent years throughout the world and more specifically in Asia. Today, we are looking for a Senior Technology & Market Analyst position to help us further develop our memory activities by performing technology, market, business and strategic analysis.

You will work in close collaboration within the Memory team, part of the Semiconductor, Memory & Computing division as well as take part in the projects of the other divisions. You will report directly to the division's director.

Location: The position is ideally based in Lyon, France.

We are open to considering fully remote opportunities across Europe for candidates with suitable profiles.

Regular business trips in Asia and Europe.

As a Senior Technology & Market Analyst, you will be responsible for
:

  • Overseeing technology and industry insights from device (DRAM, NAND, NOR, 3D NAND …) to memory storage modules (SSD, DIMMs …) and their interfaces
  • Collecting and analyzing data from different sources according to our internal methodologies, to get an overview of market trends, supply chain and technology developments and trends
  • Understanding the impact of the emergence of new or improved technologies in various applications
  • Executing business, marketing, technology and strategic analysis within a given timeframe and budget
  • Participating in the establishment and structuration of commercial offers
  • Creating and managing long-term relationships with customers, and answering clients' inquiries
  • Intervening as an expert in dedicated events worldwide (international conferences and workshops)

Requirements

  • University Degree (Bachelor, Master, Engineering, PhD) in a semiconductor, nanotechnologies, microelectronics, electronics (or equivalent) or related field is mandatory
  • A significant experience of minimum 4/5 years in the memory industry (market intelligence, product management, business development …) is mandatory
  • A first experience in Korea could be a real plus
  • Strong interest in business, market strategy and pricing
  • Good understanding and knowledge of the key players and semiconductor ecosystem
  • Required English level: minimum CECR - C1
  • Good knowledge of data modelling
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Positive team spirit
