About the role
We are looking for a Computer Vision Engineer to join our CV & Artificial Intelligence team. You will work on core perception capabilities that enable EGIDE interceptors and mission systems to localize, classify, track and engage threats under real operational constraints.
You will push the frontier of embedded vision in a domain where robustness matters more than benchmarks, and field performance defines success.
What you will do
You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of CV/AI functionality:
Research & Data Foundations
- Explore state-of-the-art Computer Vision and perception techniques
- Build, curate, and validate high-quality datasets
- Create analysis and visualization tools to guarantee data integrity
Algorithm Development
- Design and optimize perception models and inference pipelines
- Build training workflows and performance metrics to improve robustness
- Develop algorithms for tracking, detection, multi-sensor fusion, and more
Deployment & Integration
- Implement models into embedded or real-time environments
- Ensure seamless integration with EGIDE's software platform
- Participate in peer reviews, testing, and code hardening
Validation & Monitoring
- Evaluate perception performance in field conditions (including EW constraints)
- Build tools to monitor deployed models and continuously refine them
Collaboration
- Work closely with systems, software and simulation teams
- Align perception capabilities with interceptor guidance and mission logic
You are a fit if you are:
- Engineering school or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, robotics, or similar
- Strong foundations in applied mathematics and modern CV/ML methods
- Hands-on experience with Python and C++ (CUDA is a strong plus)
- Experience with training, optimizing, and deploying CV models
- A passion for turning algorithms into fielded, reliable systems
- Interest (or experience) in defense, robotics, autonomy — or all three
- A collaborative mindset and readiness to build fast, test, iterate
