Mission
As a
Software Engineer (V.I.E.)
based in Miami, you will be part of the
Product & Engineering team
, contributing to the development and scaling of Pelico's platform while collaborating closely with both
local operations
and the
engineering teams in France
.

This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a

Main Responsibilities

  • Software Development & Delivery
  • Design, develop, and maintain features across Pelico's platform (front-end, back-end, or full stack depending on profile).
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
  • Collaborate with product managers and designers to deliver impactful solutions to customers.
  • Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Technical Support for Client Projects
  • Support the deployment and integration of Pelico's platform for U.S.-based clients.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in collaboration with customer success and data teams.
  • Contribute to improving performance, reliability, and scalability of client deployments.
  • Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing
  • Act as a bridge between the Miami team and the engineering team in Paris.
  • Contribute to global engineering best practices and internal documentation.
  • Support onboarding and mentoring of new team members if needed.

Profile
Education & Background

  • Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience (internships or first job) in software development, ideally in a SaaS or tech environment.
  • Eligible for the V.I.E. program (French or EU citizen, aged 18–28, registered on mon-vie-).

Technical Skills

  • Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
  • Experience with modern web frameworks (React, , Django, or similar).
  • Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) and APIs.
  • Knowledge of databases (SQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
  • Understanding of CI/CD, Git, and agile development principles.
