Result of Service
The Consultant's ultimate result of services will be to develop a diagnosis and a proposal on the incorporation of adaptation perspectives in the medium- and long-term climate policy in Argentina. Deliverables/outputs MARCH 2026:- Deliverable 1: A progress report containing results of assessments:
- A document with an assessment of the state of the information and existing reports on adaptation in the country considering the latest existing studies, available scenarios, risk assessments from the Climate Change Risk Map Information System (SIMARCC). MAY 2026:- Deliverable 2: A progress report containing reviews on the LTS presented to the UNFCCC:
- A document with an assessment and review of the approach utilized on the adaptation and loss & damage component in LTS presented to the UNFCCC, that includes the perspective of future reports in these thematics. JULY 2026:- Deliverable 3: A final report on the Adaptation perspective in the national context, including considerations, guidelines and proposal of improvements for inclusion in IBT2 and LTS.
- A final report with a diagnosis of the information available related to adaptation, the areas of improvement identified, and the proposal to overcome difficulties considering the criteria for reporting BTR and LTS of Argentina. OCTOBER 2026:- Deliverable 4: A report that consolidates results on stakeholder mapping, workshops, and development of dissemination materials:
- Document mapping the stakeholders related to adaptation, the providers of information including the information provided, existing studies and training needs.
- Results on the development of meeting and training workshops with the results of the consultancy.
- Presentation of graphic material for communication purposes including Power Point presentations with material for communication purposes. DECEMBER 2026:- Deliverable 5: A final report that consolidates all activities carried out during the consultancy.
