This role combines strategic delivery leadership with operational team support. As a Senior Delivery Lead, you will drive Agile delivery across multiple workstreams within the IT Shared Applications Service Assurance (SA) domain. As Deputy to the Feature Team Manager, you will support team coordination, resource planning, and operational excellence, ensuring continuity and leadership coverage.
Key ResponsibilitiesDelivery Leadership
- Lead the planning and execution of delivery initiatives across Agile teams supporting Shared Applications.
- Ensure alignment with product roadmaps, technology strategy, and business priorities.
- Manage dependencies, risks, and delivery milestones across multiple workstreams.
- Champion Agile practices (Scrum, SAFe) and coach teams on continuous improvement.
Deputy to Feature Team Manager
- Act as a trusted deputy, stepping in to support team leadership and coordination when required.
- Assist in resource planning, performance tracking, and team development.
- Support operational governance, including reporting, escalations, and stakeholder engagement.
- Represent the Feature Team Manager in forums and decision-making processes when delegated.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Engineering Leads, and Business Analysts to ensure delivery alignment.
- Provide clear, concise updates to senior stakeholders on delivery status, risks, and mitigation plans.
- Foster strong relationships across ITSA, business units, and external vendors.
Delivery Excellence
- Establish and maintain delivery metrics and reporting frameworks.
- Drive automation, observability, and process improvements in collaboration with engineering and support teams.
- Ensure compliance with LSEG's ITIL standards, governance policies, and change management procedures.
- 10+ years of experience in Agile delivery leadership, preferably in enterprise IT environments.
- Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe), ITIL, and project governance.
- Proven experience managing cross-functional teams and complex dependencies.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, GIT, Confluence, ServiceNow, and GitLab/GitHub.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Agilist, or equivalent Agile certification.
- Experience in IT Shared Applications, Service Assurance, or Post Trade domains.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS), scripting (Python, Bash), and observability tools.
